A seating plan holds the names of people who trust you. Here is exactly what happens to them.
What we store
Your account email, the plan details you type (names, date, venue, note), your table names and notes, and the first and last names of your guests. Nothing else: no addresses, no phone numbers, no dietary notes unless you type them into a table note.
What a guest can see
A guest who opens your link can type a name and be told one thing: the table that name is seated at, and the floor plan layout. They cannot browse your guest list, see who else is at a table, or discover other guests' names. Searching only returns a match for a name that was typed almost exactly.
Who else can see it
Only you. Plans are readable in full by the account that created them. The public link exposes the narrow lookup described above and nothing more. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not share guest lists with anyone.
Your link
Anyone with the link can perform lookups, so treat it like an invitation card. If it gets out, you can lock or delete the plan at any time from the editor.
Deleting and exporting
Deleting a plan removes its tables and guests permanently. You can export your guest list as a CSV at any time from the plan editor, so a backup is always yours to keep.
